This is a track from the DVD "Owain Glyndwr Cymry Rhydd". The song describes the last days of Edmund Mortimer as he lies dying during the Siege of Harlech, Wales, in the severe winter of 1408. I have attempted to depict the heartbreaking dialogue between Edmund and his wife - Catrin Glyndwr - daughter of the last true Prince of Wales - as they reflect upon the happy times spent together at the family home at Sycharth, before the Welsh War of Independence reached its climax.
The DVD describes the life of Owain Glyndwr in song and image, along with textual information about the sites depicted.
I have successfully entered the soul of our hero, at the same time giving a much wider context to his life and the War of Independence, including the context of reincarnation.
The DVD is available on Amazon and also firstname.lastname@example.org Please state whether you require PAL or NSTC video recording. Enjoy!
