Interlude

by Delraysteve

The upbeat side of downtempo. Great grooves, percolating percussion, upbeat bass tracks, lush strings, ethereal backing vocals and funky guitar riffs. A mix of downtempo, latin and funk that's very danceable.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Churning out grooves in the town that made Downtempo a worldwide sensation, this artist's music has been compared favorably to the best that the Washington, D.C. clubs have to offer. DJ and producer Steve Ray (a.k.a. delraysteve)'s first CD release contains two tracks which are sure to send people scrambling for the dance floor.

His weekly dj night 'Sidewinder' with Uncle Eric at Cafe Japone in D.C.'s Dupont Circle got rave reviews. His dj sets include his material, so come out and hear him spin if you're around.

He now splits his time between San Francisco and D.C. He is currently working on a new funk tune in San Francisco which is slated for release this summer. Visit the below web site for a preview!

Great music to spin continuously
This music is great to listen to while unwinding, something you'll spin continously for hours, or something that lingers in the background.

Good grooves, man.
Good grooves, man. That latin/funk tune is sweet, and the downtempo thing is real nice.
