ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Acoustic Guitar Magazine described Del Rey as "one of the greatest modern players of the metal-bodied resonator guitar.” She has been car-free since 2000 and loves playing the ukulele because it fits on a bike. Her bikes are a Gazelle and a Kalkoff.
George St John (slide guitar/vocals) plays his own ruckus-raising version of electric country blues with his band Doctor and the Bird. He rides a Colnago and a Mercian.
Matt Weiner is a car-free acoustic bassist-that's a commitment! He toured with Asylum Street Spankers, Hot Club of Cowtown, Butch Thompson and others before settling down in Seattle. His current band is the Blue4Trio. He rides a 1984 Trek 600 road bike and a 1994 Gary Fisher Aquila with Schwalbe Big Apples and fenders in wet weather.
Craig Flory (sax) is a native Seattlite who's played with everyone from Skerik to Bonnie Raitt. He rides an Atlantis.
Eric Eagle (drums) plays with Wayne Horvitz and Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter.
