Album Notes

Welcome to The Deluxe Radio Theatre. Please have your tickets ready and enjoy the show!

The Deluxe Radio Theatre's acclaimed second album "The River And The Desert" is now available right here, right now. High energy rock songs like “Miami Man”, “Where The People Are Free” and “Butterfly Or Bee” on the same disk as rich ballads such as “Full Moon” and “Lady Under Glass” are rarely found. Add great pop/rock songs such as “Every Other Girl”, “At The End Of The Day” and “That’s The Moment” to the almost haunting, alternative songs “Desert Night”, “The River” and “This Dirty Road” and you have a cd everyone should have in their collection!

Del Tremens (vocals, keyboards), Jeff Garr (vocals, guitars) and Patrick Dege (bass guitars) return to a fabulous opening night at the Theatre. This five-star album, their first since the 1996 release of their debut cd is jam-packed with the afore mentioned all new music and mayhem. Utilizing their talents, they have, once again, blended together like a fine wine (available in our lobby, of course) and produced a cd that will rock you, pop you and surprise you!

The Deluxe Radio Theatre was founded by the core members, Del Tremens, Jeff Garr and Patrick Dege many moon ago. Disguising themselves under various names, they played for the masses and the masses found that they were good. Finally arriving home, The Deluxe Radio Theatre, they began to sharpen their skills, learn from one another and form their tight-knit sound that will endure for years. Their music ranges from the unique to the sublime and their sound varies from the rock and roll sounds of ZZ Topp to the mysterious, prog-rock inspired Pink Floyd. There is something for everyone on this album! Their sly, wink-of-the-eye look at our world will amuse you and amaze you! The critics have raved about their "walking bass lines" and their incredible "keyboards"! No one ever leaves The Theatre without a smile on their face and a song in their heart.

So, don't be the last one in the know.

This album is great!
This album is great! I was interested by the and took a chance with this album. I was really surprised by the music! So many fun songs to listen to. Songs that you want to hear on a sunny day, you know what I mean? I think my favorite is The River but I really like Lady under Glass, too. I just like the way the singers sound when they sing together. As this website says you should get this album right away because its really great.

The River And The Desert
I really enjoyed this album...from the somewhat, possibly religious undertones of \"The River\" to the definitely secular \"Miami Man\" and \"This Dirty Road\"...overall, this is a fantastic album, well worth the price of admission (at they would say!). Maybe I was just in a good mood, but I really enjoyed they entire album and would like to hear more from them!

Essential Listening for your collection.
You need to own this CD. It is an essential part of the playlist at WBLD-FM (West Bloomfield High School Radio). Great harmonies and songs, top notch musicianship and catchy melodies with a great pop rock sensibility make this a must-have.
