ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Derek Blevins was the powerful drummer behind Boston bands Johanna Wild and Jon Butcher Axis from 1975-1987. During his JBA days on Capitol Records, he responded to the inner calling to leave the secular music world to bring his music more in line with his new found faith in Jesus Christ. Since then God has used him as an ardent worship leader and organizer for churches on both coasts - namely Park Street Church in Boston and First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley in Berkeley CA. Along the way he began playing guitar, piano, singing and songwriting. He is still a fiery drummer in the Bay Area worship scene and remains devoted to writing, recording with Bay Area Christian musicians.

Worship thru song!!
A great discovery! This fellow Derek is a obviously a gifted and blessed musician. These songs are beautifully written from the heart. Genuine, deep worship music.
