ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Desert Troubadours are a Husband and Wife team. They oridionally played and sang for pleasure. They decided to play professionally in retirment. A gentleman came up to them, and offered his songs to the duo for recording. Weldon Allard and Johnny Hathcock wrote many song in the 1960's. The songs now are as good as they were then. Weldon's wife, Sandy wrote her first gospel song, and let them record it. Johnny Hathcock is co-arthur of "Welcome to My World".
The Desert Troubadours have come up with their own style of music, traditional country western with a Rockabilly twist. Most people comment that they would think it was a five piece band, if they didn't see them. The album sounds just like they do in person.
