Album Notes
Devora Clark wrote this song in 1992, a song of suffering. Brought up by an abusive mother, Devora learned to pursue a man's love by performance. In the middle of premarital sex, she wondered why she felt no love? Answer: because there wasn't any. It was lust. And worse, at that time when she cried out to God, she got an agonizing answer of empty silence.
