by D.H. Lawrence & the Vaudeville Skiffle Show

Album Notes
Hailing from the green hills and valleys of 'Lawrence country' some say that these folks have spent too long in the woods drinking moonshine. Mean and moody, they can break your heart or skiffle you to submission with their octane-fuelled drinking songs. It's a kind of "Up-Northicana" . Psycho-skiffle through to lo-fi Country/Folk sung by men of the woods . If they are not singing hanging songs in the darkness of the trees, then they're picking mushrooms or elderberries and sloes to make ruby red liquor to help them through the deep darkness of winter. Light a candle, sip some whiskey and enjoy.

DH Lawrence & The Vaudeville Skiffle Show are: Misk Hills Mountain Rambler III, The Reverend Daniel Wright, Sister Stevie-Leigh, and Minin’ Bill Kerry III. Peace to y'all.
