ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The music of Diskarnate, a powerful German-US atmo electropop trio, announces a whole new era for soul-stirring cinematic electropop. Featuring German composer/producer Armin Küster ( [de:ad:cibel], Inca Hunters), vocalist/lyricist Susan Anway (The Magnetic Fields), and master of visionary electronic soundscapes, Jack Andrews (PBS History Detectives, film 24 Hours After – The Kennedy Assassination, MTV's Jersey Shore) the band’s music is at the same time electrifying, mysterious, and dynamic, often eliciting powerful emotion – moving through dense satisfying atmospheres underpinned by deep and danceable bass and beats.

Fueled by the power of Armin Küster’s rich beat structures and electro-industrial scores, Susan Anway’s emotive lyrics and strong vocal presence, and Jack Andrews’ dramatic, often mysterious, electronic sound imagery, Diskarnate’s music is alternately spellbinding, and compelling – in short: big magic, of the wonderful kind.
