Album Notes
The award-winning Kansas City based group Diverse (Hermon Mehari, Ryan Lee and Ben Leifer) recorded their second album in Paris, France, as a result of an ongoing conversation with the city's scene since 2010. "Our Journey" utilizes the young Parisian star Tony Tixier on piano, who's musical aesthetic and sensibility matches the group's vision. Logan Richardson, alto saxophonist on Concord Records, performs on a few numbers. The album marks the band's growth as friends and musicians on both individual and collective levels while maintaining their founding goal of pulling in a variety of audience demographics.
