ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The legendary Doc Jake Trio, lost in the vast wastelands of Area 51. House band at The Moon Room Lounge, never heard from
again after sometime in 1962. This album is the second made from tapes found in the desert from their sessions at The Moon Room which disappeared around the same time. Popular for their dark, contemplative meditations that evoked a great back up for what had been poetic happenings in New York City, they had taken their act west. Invited or not, they began appearing nightly in The Moon Room to refine their music to a point where words were no longer needed. The Moon Room, located in the desert, was rumored to be part of a test site community. These tapes are the only link to what had been one of the great avant garde jazz trios known. Speculation to their fate cannot be verified, Area 51 is closed to the public. Please enjoy this music as it was intended, and allow it to wrap itself around your heart and into your mind. If you are new to this music, the first album released and available is: "The Moon Room Sessions". Do not miss the opportunity to add that title to your collection. And be sure to read those album notes associated with that offering as well. The dream continues....
