Album Notes
Song for Scrooge was written expressly for "A New York Christmas Carol" with Austin Pendleton as Scrooge. This modern adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol will be performed in New York City December 21st & 22nd, 2012 at the Irondale Arts Center in (Brooklyn) New York City.

The song provides a redemptive look at the life of Scrooge, who is visited by three spirits—angels of God. In developing music for A New York Christmas Carol I've tried to capture the wonder and simplicity of hope. I've tried to portray our brokenness—the ways our addictions to greed or anything else can draw us astray—and how the power of redemption can bring us back to what matters. This was Scrooge's journey, and it is ours as well.
