My Breasts Are Out of Control

by Dos Fallopia

Hilarious, political, quirky, demented music/comedy from Seattle sketch comedy mavens, Dos Fallopia (Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt), aka "Twin Sisters of Different Cul-de-sacs". Wickedly funny commentary from a woman's point of view.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Seattle sketch comedy mavens Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt (Dos Fallopia) re-released their debut recording to celebrate 15 years of comic togetherness! Known to their followers as "Twin Sisters of Different Cul-de-sacs," Dos Fallopia combine music, sketch comedy, improv, razor sharp wit, and general lunacy to produce wickedly funny commentary from a woman's point of view.

Initially recorded in a Seattle garage in 1992, "My Breasts Are Out of Control" features appearances by British grunge rockers THE SURLY BITCHES, dysfunctional mother-daughter country superstars THE SPUDDS (Euomi and Wynotta), lesbian performance duo MUD (Compost Morningdew and Dolphin-Free Tuna Womon), FRAN AND ANNIE'S 12-STEP DAY CARE, and a variety of politically incorrect "DEFINITIONS". Special appearances by Venus Envy and Julie Wolf. Five new bonus songs are included. This was originally recorded when the 1st Bush was in office, so the content is frighteningly current!

DOS FALLOPIA (Koch and Platt) have appeared at countless music and comedy festivals in New York, London, San Francisco, LA, Chicago and Minneapolis, and have toured their sold-out stage shows, "Twin Sisters of Different Cul-de-sacs", "Pretty Girls, Not Too Bright", and "Smorgaspork: Ham for the Holidays" in theaters and concert halls all over the world. Their video, "Pretty Girls, Not Too Bright", has received rave reviews.

"Could they be the long lost love child of Doris Day and Divine? Big, brash, and completely mad..."
--- London Connection

"I wasn't prepared for just how funny they would be... I kept laughing and fell out of my seat... two of the funniest, most irreverent comedians I've seen in years..."
--- San Francisco Bay Times

"...They are, without question, Seattle's reigning queens of sketch comedy..."
--Seattle Gay News

Even more fabulous than I remembered!
First got turned onto this album in the mid-'90s via a third-generation dubbed cassette. Played it so often the tape broke years ago. The other day, we got to talking and happened to remember it. I googled it, and found it for sale here -- it came promptly in perfect condition, I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the product. Funniest album EVER, and the extra tracks that weren't on the tape are a handful of new and shining jewels amidst the familiar treasure of the other material. Flippin' brilliant!

hilarious
Great fun! I've listened to this CD several times in the past week and each time I hear something I missed all of the times before. I'm hoping to catch a live Dos Fallopia show at some point this season.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
My roommate and I had our house broken into in 2004 and saddly our Dos Fallopia cassett was in the stereo. She has since moved to Canada and I'm still in Texas, but while we were IM'ing the other day she mentioned "moon time" and instantly googled Dos Falopia. I was extra excited to see that I could get me and her one for 20% off. I got them both last week and I'm mailing her to Canada today! I have had so much fun with mine and I can't wait to hear how she enjoys hers! We were also throughly tickled by the emails we received about the shipment from CD Baby. Thanks to Dos Fallopia for their artistic brilliance and to CD Baby for giving me the most fun I've ever had purchasing something. I will be a repeat customer!
Smiles!

A classic
I got the cassette years ago and the songs on it quickly became iconic for me and my friends. When we see a particularly good example of a pocket knife-carrying lesbian, we'll start singing A Camp Song to clue each other in, and whenever talk turns toward the incredibly self-absorbed phase of someone in recovery, Fran and Annie's 12-Step Day Care is the only thing that nails it for us. And we're all sure the woman in the Definitions sections is supposed to be from Minnesota, since she brings back all of our great memories of insular and friendly folks in the rural parts of that state. Amazing stuff, even 16 years later. Great to have it in 16-bit hi-def!

Actually, I was out of control. I was listening to this on my way to British Columbia, just laughing out loud!! The people around me couldn\'t hear what i was laughing at, but I just could not help myself!

Absolute gutbusting, wild and whacky trip down memory lane
CD Baby got this to me immediately even during last minute Holiday rush and in perfect condition.
Great to have the CD Baby resource available.
