Dario Pinelli & The Italian Gypsy Jazz Trio is composed of three of the most esteemed musicians world wide in the genre 'jazz manouche': Dario Pinelli on the solo guitar, Walter Clerici on vocals and rhythmic guitar, and Renato Gattone on the double bass. What do these three artists have in common? Each of them being of Italian descent.
Dario Pinelli is considered one of the greatest solo guitarists in gypsy jazz, furthermore being the youngest. Protagonist in countless international festivals, performing in trio with The Godfathers or in quartet with Angelo Debarre, has now broadened the society with Walter Clerici, director of the Hot Club of Copenhagen who is as skilled as is rare an Italian Swing singer.
To complete the trio, Renato Gattone, the double bassist and television personage that has accompanied the walk of Italian Swing musicians including Romano Mussolini and Renzo Arbore.
