ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dream Street performs romantic and eclectic acoustic chamber jazz with great vocals, unique instrumentation and original material. Led by guitarist, songwriter and arranger Stan Ayeroff (Roger Daltrey, Heart, Oingo Boingo) and featuring vocalist Bobbi Page, one of the most recorded vocalists in town and violinist Sid Page, known for his work in Dan Hicks and The Hot Licks and currently known as the "all-terrain" concertmaster/soloist in the L.A studios, Dream Street is an innovative new contemporary music group dedicated to great songs, cool arrangements, and heartfelt performances.

Bobbi Page - Vocals
Stan Ayeroff - Guitars
Sid Page - Violin
Alisha Bauer - Cello
Leslie Lashinsky - Bassoon
Domenic Genova - Acoustic Bass
Brian Kilgore - Percussion

Bobbi Page - Vocals
From commercials to animation, global concerts to blockbusting movies, Bobbi has literally become one of the most influential voices in the film, television, and commercial music industry today.

L.A. vocal contractor extraordinaire, Bobbi not only performs with but develops choirs for many of the biggest composers and projects in the business: THE LION KING - Hans Zimmer, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS - Danny Elfman, 2 DIE FOR, and SCOOBY DOO 1 and 2 - David Newman, ALADDIN, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, SPIDERMAN 1 and 2, MEN IN BLACK 1 and 2 - Alan Silvestri. And more recently… HAIRSPRAY - Marc Shaiman, SPIDERMAN 3 - Christopher Young, MEET THE ROBINSONS - Danny Elfman, Disney's ENCHANTED - Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, BEOWOLF - Alan Silvestri, EVAN ALMIGHTY - John Debney, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 1 & 2 & 3, TENACIOUS D and EPIC MOVIE

Bobbi comes home to a harmonious marriage with her very own all-terrain studio cat: violinist and concertmaster Sid Page. They parent two wonderful sons and make beautiful music together.

Stan Ayeroff - Leader, Composer, Arranger, Guitars
While studying composition at the California Institute of the Arts, Stan fell in love with swing music, especially Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France. He went on to write books on Django Reinhardt, Charlie Christian and Benny Goodman. He has performed with Texas R&B singer Delbert McClinton and was co-musical director (with Danny Elfman) of the original "Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo". He served as Orchestral Supervisor for Rod Stewart, Page and Plant, The Who and Heart, conducting a chamber orchestra for Heart's concert video "The Road Home" on Capitol Records. Stan has been the musical director for a series of projects featuring Roger Daltry of The Who, and has served as arranger for songwriter David Baerwald (Sheryl Crow, Moulin Rouge).

On the recommendation of Ry Cooder, Stan was enlisted by drummer Jim Keltner to create a "Djangoesque" jingle for U.S. Healthcare. Stan assembled his musical dream team of violinist Sid Page, woodwind player Dan Higgins, bassist Dave Stone and percussionist Brad Dutz and the group "Snapdaddys" was born. On this precursor to Dream Street, Leslie joined in on bassoon for one song. Their instrumental CD "Snapdaddys" is available at the Dream Store.

For many years Stan has serenaded the stars on and off camera, once upon a time inspiring Sean Connery and Sophia Loren to dance together to his solo guitar playing.

The "Dream Street" CD is a beautiful recording of earthy and thoughtful acoustic songs.

Dan Wallin

“Dream Street” is definitely a CD to keep in your car. You need it when you feel stressed out. Bobbi Page’s vocals, Stan Ayeroff’s intelligent songs and acoustic guitar and Sid Page’s violin will lift you up and place you gently on a cloud.

Tracy Newman
Singer/songwriter of CD “A Place in the Sun” co-creator of ABC/TV’s “According to Jim”, writer for “Cheers” and Emmy Award winner for “Ellen”.

The new self titled "Dream Street" is a collection of some of our finest musical talent, instrumentally and vocally, producing what is obviously a labor of love. The songs and arrangements cover a wide range of musical styles all combined into a focused and colorful palette of musical voyages. This is a project clearly aimed for those who desire a dynamic, genteel, and mature approach to music. This is a record that lets the players to the talking, without the "loudness war" and over manipulation stealing away its focus. It is a breath of fresh air for those who enjoy listening to great musicians and vocalists, left to their own devices.

Steve Kempster
Engineer/Producer “Tooth Fairy”, “Night At The Museum”, “G.I. Joe”

"What do gorgeous songs & arrangements, a superbly talented & inventive ensemble, and a bassoon have in common? Dream Street! Pour yourself a glass of your favorite red and enjoy-
