Album Notes
As the title implies, this CD is one greatly loved. Karen has written new material for this special CD, bringing her gifts and her passions together for a totally enjoyable and uplifting experience. She teaches through her music that we are loved and that this is our gift to share.

A few words from Karen...

A full band and backup singers helped me to create this 12 song collection for Beloved. The most requested songs from this CD are "Beloved” , “Lighten Up” , "I’ll Light A Candle", the song I wrote about 9/11, and “Stand" a peace anthem

REVIEW: Backroads Music Catalog
On her latest CD, Karen shows significant growth in style and compositional excellence. Her choice of material has always been insightful; this time it's downright inspired. Perhaps that is because she wrote or co-wrote all of the words and music! With help and accompaniment from John Hoy on guitar, keyboards, assorted everything else, Gary Malkin on a couple tracks, Annie Stocking on backing vocals and others contributing flute, percussion, keyboards and vocal chorus, there is a full yet simple sound, clean as a whistle. With themes both universal and personal, Karen invites the listener to "breath in, breathe out," "lighten up," "take a stand" and more, while sharing that her "religion is kindness" and singing about dreams, healing, the power of women and more. All is guaranteed to inspire positive, warm feelings and an open heart. With this CD of her own personally penned songs, she steps out beyond the realm of inner-child songs and everybody else's favorites into establishing her own creative expression in its own beauty.

A Wonderful, Inspiring CD
There isn't a bad piece of music on the CD. There is something for every mood you could possibly have.

Fantastic lyrics in every song, inspirational and humorus
Breathe is the reason I bought the CD. I'd heard it at a NIA class and it wouldn't leave my mind. I had to wait weeks to get the artist's name and where I could order it. The CD is great overall I've purchased many CD's for just one song and have been disappointed in the rest not so in this case. I listen to it before work and can face the day with a joyfull heart. Thanks Take care, be safe and be well..

Karen's music is music for the mind, body and spirit. I have all four of her CD's and am looking forward to the next one.

What a delightful discovery! Lucky me! Karen and I have friends and even family in common yet somehow I came to meet her and hear her music only lately. She has the conviction of Streisand without the schmaltz, the hipness of Carole King without the, well, nasal quality. Her productions are huge and gorgeous... remarkable musicianship in her sidemen. Wonderful messages, too -- peace, saving the planet, kindness, and of course love. Glad to finally meet you, Karen!
