Album Notes
At a very young age,Danny was interested in music. He spent most evenings at his neighbor’s home, who was a member of a musical “trio.”
This was Danny’s first exposure to music, and where he discovered his passion for performing the popular musical style called “Salsa.” Danny performed with various musical groups in the town of Carolina, Puerto Rico where he lived with his mother and his brother.

In search of broadening his horizons, Danny decided to move to the city of skyscrapers, New York. In 1986, he met a man named Tito Allen, who introduced him to a band leader, Ray Barretto. This was the beginning of Danny’s extensive career in Music. Danny traveled to many different countries to perform and gained invaluable experience from his teacher, Barretto.

In 1990, Danny joined a Salsa group called “Los Hermanos Moreno” with whom he sang for six years. During this time, Danny released several musical hits which lead him to tour many European countries and the Orient.

For the next seven years, Danny performed with several different orchestras. In 2002 he decided to move to Orlando Florida and In 2005 Danny met his manager Bart “Chico” Flax, associated with Bonilla Management. Now his plan to go solo with his own Orchestra materialized and in 2006 he recorded his first CD entitled “Danny Sanchez Going Solo” with the hit songs “Los 70’s”and Con Sabor Azucar,ElQue Persevera Triunfa . Danny expects to create many more hits in the years to come.

WOW !!!!
I grew up with Danny ( Pipo ) Sanchez, and it is obvious that he has matured into a Salsa singer that will continue to carry
this fabulous gender of music to the four coners of the world. Somebody say hello for me, have not spoke to him since I joined the US Navy in 1978.
