Dawayne Stamper, a native resident of Lavaca, Arkansas, has been playing the piano since the age of seven. Since that time, he has accumulated numerous musical accolades, including winning the National Federation of Music Clubs' state piano competition in high school, receiving an outstanding piano student award in college, and receiving several commissions to compose concert band music for Arkansas high schools. Stamper is well known throughout the Arkansas river valley for providing piano music at weddings, church services, choral festivals, and other special events. He also tours nationally, providing piano accompaniment for gospel recording artist Daniel Crews.
Stamper's debut release, "Foundation," contains eleven piano solo tracks, all arranged and performed by Stamper, that focus on breathing new life into some of the classic hymns of the Christian faith. Songs such as "How Great Thou Art," and "It is Well With My Soul," come alive as Stamper makes the piano roar with the sound of praise.
Listeners rave that "Foundation" is "rock solid -- an exciting blend of hymns that is fresh, creative, and moving." Order your copy today, and see why people all across the nation are talking about "Foundation."
