ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Breakdowns and Hymns" was recorded over a week in the winter of 2006 at Trout Studios in Brooklyn New York. Dylan Connor joined up with famed indie rock producer Bryce Goggin for a second time. Goggin, who has produced records for Phish, Lemonheads, Pavement, chose these five tracks out of sixteen that Dylan had written since recording "Plug In" in 2004. Dylan recorded live in the studio with three of his dearest friends and fellow musicians since chilhood - Trevor Coen(bass) and Joe Izzo (drums)and Merritt Jacob(lead guitar). The result is an indie power pop EP with organic tones, big melodies and insightful lyrics.
