Album Notes
Born in Potosí Bolivia, Eddy is a composer and one of the greatest exponents and master virtuosos of the charango, a traditional Bolivian stringed instrument. Eddy became SUKAYs artistic director in 1989, and he brought the musicianship of the group to new heights. He was a founding member of the famous Bolivian group Savia Andina, with whom he recorded 35 albums. Savia Andina was a major force in bringing Andean music into the mainstream, hitting the Top 40 charts. Navia has also recorded eight solo albums, the latest endeavor entitled Mozart En Machu Picchu.
