ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Edgefield C. Johnston spent the majority of his life wandering the country, accumulating experience and learning to write songs before landing in St. Louis in 2009. Currently he lives on the south side of St. Louis, where he continues to write and perform his singular brand of edgy American music, both solo and with his band The Known Haterz. His style combines elements of blues, jazz, country, gospel, folk, indie rock and shoegaze, delivered with a hefty dose of garage punk swagger and swing.

Northside Refugees
After two years in the making, Edgefield C. Johnston & The Known Haterz are proud to present the new EP length album, Northside Refugees. Johnston describes the record as “a collection of garage rock short stories that plays as a seven part joke about self-destruction and survival.” The album will be released for physical purchase at local St. Louis record stores and for digital download on Friday, November 9th, 2012.
