Album Notes
Edison Parallel is a collaboration between Automatik Fax Format founders and long time co-conspirators, Azrael Encarnacion and Enchant Emerson. Although Azrael usually supplies his own production for his projects he respectfully sat back as Enchant Emerson, under his Darkologist persona, provided the melodramatic, at times scrapingly gutter beatscape for Azrael's cryptic and free structured lyrics. Carmen Befores the Thief of Morning is their first album and christening release from the Automatik Fax Format Collective. The album features extra production from electronic artist and composer, MysterE, as well as minor contributions from DJs and even some beat boxing on “Age in his Beard”. The result stalks an album as short as a sunrise and just as deserving of an occasional observation. Based in New York City, Carmen Befores the Thief of Morning is a product of its environment giving a dark, sometimes cold feel for a Gotham unsettled in the embrace of a love/hate relationship one tends to feel for the city.

Perfection from the outer limits
I've purchased this album and knew this was no ordinary album. This album left me rebelling against the daily errands of reality. It left me spellbound and gave me some hope for society. This is a must hear and a must own. I give CBTTOM my personal editor's pick. *****!!
