ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Educate The Antidote is a music group formed in 2012. The members include: Kali Stoddard Imari (Singer/Songwriter), Nathan Tanaka (Rock & Roll Guitarist/Vocalist), and Frank Wilkins Jr. (Hip-Hop Artist). The trio met while employed by an Afterschool program in Boston, Massachusetts. Each member, at the time, was actively pursuing individual musical careers as Solo Artists, but came together when called upon to create a song that would inspire and celebrate a group of exceptional youth leaders.

The song Rise Up was born, and soon became the foundation for all music that would follow. With a sound that finds the midpoint between “Linkin Park” and “Gym Class Heroes”, Rise Up, first performed on May 5, 2012, received rave reviews. The group was encouraged to continue to explore this mutual musical path, and they did exactly that. Three months later, the self-titled EP “Educate The Antidote” was complete.

Through the music, the mission of Educate the Antidote will remain to empower the learners of the world. To combat the sickness of ignorance, with a simple message… “Never stop learning, Never stop loving, Never stop striving for more, and Always remember, to take a Break, have fun!”

“On this day… we will win! Turn the page… we now begin! A new chapter! Let’s move faster! Achieve laughter! See green pastures! Celebrate… Our Redemption! Toast to that! No exemptions! Rise Up! You’re the Antidote! Love’s the key, The Answer’s Hope!”

-Our Redemption (Educate The Antidote EP)

Thank you, thank you
It's hard to find music that can be enjoyed across genres and ages. These guys have done that. The rock, hip hop and singer/songwriter combo really works, it's amazing! Nice. Thank you. Thank you. :O)
