Album Notes
Egidio Flamini is a pianist and composer and, from these two points of view, also a dual character.
The pianist is a classical performer who has obtained a conservatory graduate diploma and more, playing concerts in Italy and abroad, attending and teaching Masterclasses as well as winning awards in national and international piano competitions. His artistic sensitivity has evolved interpreting the music of Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and Prokofev.
The composer is a modern-day musician whose growing years have been infused with Italian and international pop music, Rock and musicals.
These two souls create a bond in his music. Each composition is like a bridge between classical and pop music, unites elements from both universes and creates surprising and moving results.
Egidio Flamini's music takes you by the hand, on a voyage along with him but also on a personal voyage within oneself. His notes speak a universal language in which not knowing the syntax only increases the emotion of comprehension; it is the miracle of Cupid, who touches the hearts of lovers: they don't understand the chemistry of their reactions but can fully experience the beautiful tale of their happiness, His music instills happiness because it expands the lightness of soul of his listeners and lets them step beyond the borders of their bodies, bringing a smile of delight.

You are a window, I am a window. At the point where all languages disappear, the window begins. Before all languages began, the window was already there. The music within this album, each and every note, was inspired by the sense of surprised bewilderment, a mixture of fear and wonder, the same sense that a window experiences when faced with the questions that have always remained unanswered. Which questions? - where have we come from, who are we, where are we, where are we going.

“Absolutely beautiful Egidio. Listening to your music has been a wonderful way to start my day.”

“...I enjoyed the listen immensely. There's nothing like solo piano work. Your compositions are filled with subtleties and dynamics. And the quiet section where you play the "tender notes" are exquisite. The fluidity and grace that you play with, can be heard in your works. Thank you for sharing your talent and music with the world. You are a true artist. “

“Lovely, divine, spiritual and enchanting...pure magic...I love your is similar to Yann Tiersen but with your own flavor or style...”

“...your music...i can't even put it into words, the way i feel when i listen to it. You're marvelous talent, and i love love love your work.”

“Thank you for your compositions. They are astounding, you have a way of expressing yourself that is so pure. I admire that.”
