The Elastic Band has been creating music for about 6 or 7 years. Some of it, not fit for your deaf dog to listen to, while some of it very compelling. The Elastic Band's influence comes from many facets of traditional Rock, early Pink Floyd comes to mind when listening to "You're Breakin' My Heart" (which is also included on Goodnight Kiss's "Addiction, Highs and Lows" Compilation CD.) A more refined slow type of 'dreamy' rock. A canvas of sound, which features many colors and textures. From Bluesy rock to Easy Rock, to psychedelic rock. It can be heard on the "Demos" CD by the Elastic Band.
Note that this CD is named for exactly what it is, These songs were all written and recorded by The Elastic Band as 'demos' in a home studio environment. Although excellent sonic quality, they were not proffesionally recorded or produced.
It is mainly to represent The Elastic Band as a unit, or group, and to represent the songs themselves.
About 50 copies have been issued so far, and the number is growing. It is getting excellent reviews from most people, and The Elastic Band would certainly be interested in hearing from you with an opinion, good or bad.
