ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Electroconductor is electronica producer Arlo Giunchi from the UK.

With the release of his debut album 'About Time' he begins on a playful and infectious high, with a sound somewhere between Moby and Aphex Twin.

A mix of production techniques, keyboard playing and editing, 'About Time' is an unpretentious blend of breaks, orchestral sounds and melodic electronica.

It is 'About Time' you hear Electroconductor.

Also available on iTunes and other download stores.

About Time is just purely awesome!
I first heard of Electroconductor with FL Studio through one of the demo projects called "Midnight", which absolutely blew me away. It wasn't until some years later that I decided to find out more about Electroconductor, then I visited his website via the link in the demo project and found out that he had made a whole album. After listening to some of the tracks on his Youtube channel "Electroconductor", I found myself loving them a lot instantly, and later I came here to buy "About Time" - I just felt that Electroconductor totally deserves my money for his amazing work. Every track sounds like it was given the greatest care in being put together, it is just wholly well-done - I love the styles that he takes on too, they are so pleasant and I do not often hear such pleasant styles. I highly recommend "About Time", the music in it is breathtakingly extraordinary. Electroconductor, that is, Arlo Giunchi, your music is absolutely awesome and thank you for producing such excellent music!

It's a well and truly deserved 10/10 from me for the whole album.

Wow!!! An AMAZING piece of work!
EARGASMIC stuff!!! This album is a breath of fresh air. Every track is very catchy, melodic, unique & original. Fantastic beat programming too. Truly one of the BEST electronica albums to come out this year - i'd highly recommend it to ALL electronica/breakbeat fans ... you NEED this CD in your collection!!

Here's my own quick review of each track:

1.) Vostok: 10/10. A superb combination of phat beats & classical orchestral elements.

2.) Carbon: 10/10. This is a sonic masterpiece & another one of my favourites. Very sci-fi, atmospheric & trippy - feels like i'm floating around in the vastness of space.

3.) Change Your Mind: 10/10. Great jazzy-dnb track!

4.) Decipher: 10/10. Really catchy stuff!

5.) Link Up: 10/10. I love the melody on this one. Really nice funky basslines too.

6.) Switch On: 10/10. Awesome sound! Its kind of like a cross between 'Orbital', 'Aphex Twin' and 'Squarepusher'.

7.) Free Me: 10/10. Great funky groove! Sorta' like 'Jamiroquai' & 'Daft Punk'.

8.) Ember: 10/10. Excellent, amazing & brilliant! One of my favourites on the album.

9.) Firefly: 10/10. Wicked track!!! Very trippy & psychedelic! Another one of my favourites. I also love the glitchy, 'Aphex Twin'-influenced beats on this one.

10.) Be OK: 10/10. Very, very catchy stuff!! I love this tune. Phat beats, fantastic use of strings & wicked piano riffs & melodies. Kind of like a 'Fatboy Slim'/''DJ Shadow' type of sound.

SUMMARY: 2 thumbs up!! Buy this album - its an AMAZING piece of work!
