Album Notes
This five song EP showcases the different styles and sounds of Elizabeth Faith, a singer/songwriter based out of Kansas City, MO. The project ranges from the upbeat and playful melodies found in 'Maria', to the raw and intimate worship of a heart reaching for God amidst struggle in 'Woman at the Well' . These songs have come as a result of spending over 4 years singing, worshiping and praying throughout the night watches at the International House of Prayer In Kansas City, MO.

Chorus: Maria you are a flower and I
have all that you need to come alive and to grow
I open up my hand and satisfy
No good and perfect thing do I withhold

I’m the sun, shining the light of My face
and you’re the one, that cannot escape my gaze
I’m the sun, shining in all of my strength
and you’re the one in whom, I cannot look away

I’m the ground, I know no lack I know no need
I’ve come to give, life and life abundantly
I’m the ground, I’m hedging you in on all sides
Trust in me, all you have to do is receive

Here comes the rain, unrelenting
Jealous its name, terrifying
You will not stop until You do
All that is in Your heart to do

I won’t run away, I will let You have Your way
In the midst of the pain, I hear Your voice in the rain
I hear you saying: I am with you

What sacrifice compares with Christ
What trial or pain, overshadows my gain
Tell me what tribulation, pressure or persecution
Rivals the glory of Christ dwelling in me

I get God (3x)
You’re my joy

Lifting up my eyes, looking towards the prize
Laying aside every weight, every sin
I run with perseverance considering the Man Christ Jesus
weariness looses its hold, discouragement leaves my soul

I get God (3x)
You’re my joy

What are you momentary, light affliction
Compared to God, He’s my joy
You’re not worthy, to be
Compared to God, You’re my joy

You looked at Me, said yes, then went your way
What you don’t see is that I’ve never looked away
With an ache in my heart, I live to intercede
For the day that you’re with Me, is the day My joy is complete

Could I forget the kindness of your youth?
My arms outstretched, I long to gather you
With an ache in my heart, I live to intercede
For the day that you’re with Me, is the day My joy is complete

My love my dove, all fair one
My love my dove all fair one
It’s you I love compared to none
My love my dove all fair one

Until day breathes and shadows disappear
Lift up your voice, it’s your song I want to hear
Formed in Me, you’re the dream of my heart
And faithful I will be, to complete everything that I start

FIND A FRIEND (acoustic version)
Find a friend with a lovesick heart
waiting, waiting (3x) here

I’ve come to enjoy You, behold and to bless You
In Your presence I find the fulness of my joy

I’ve come to know You, and to be known by You
In You I find pleasures and treasures and true life

Invite me in, to the garden
Into Your heart, into the depths of who You are(2x)

Find a friend, find a friend in the night (3x)

Please don’t ask me to stay as You draw away to pray
But count me worthy to see what You see

Why is Your heart heavy, and why do you tarry?
Acquaint me with what’s going on, on the inside

Invite me in, to the garden
Into Your heart, into the depths of who You are(4x)

On You I wait, reveal to me
the secret things, the mysteries(3x)

WOMAN AT THE WELL (Spontaneous song)

Cassie (Producer): You’ve taken songs written in secret, on an out-of-tune piano and brought them to life. I’ll never know all the work you’ve put into this project and you’ll never know how much it has meant to me, having you produce it. Thank you for your friendship.
Forrest(Engineer): I appreciate the long hours you spent working to make each song sound amazing. It’s been great to work with you.
Terry(Mix and Master): Your encouragements concerning my music have always come at just the right time. It’s been a pleasure meeting you and having you mix and master this project.
