Freddy Lopez was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. In 1977 he participated in the "The Village Kids" at an early age. After moving to New York, Freddy participated in groups like Young Sound Device and New Image by doing choreography and dancing. In 1987 Freddy took modeling class at Pasarella Modeling Studios with Carlos Emmanuely, after finishing he decided to become a recording artist's and trained his voice in the Bloomingdale School Of Music. Shortly after Freddy started to perform as a single artist, and got more and more involved with Freestyle Dance Music, Freddy Lopez was sign to Pryme Time Records, and released his first single Baby Listen To Me and his first solo Album "Tu Jugaste Con Mi Amor" produced by Artie Rodriguez, four songs of the album I Keep On Trying, Tu Jugaste Con Mi Amor,No Aguanto Mas and No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti went into Radio rotations and even chart positions. In 1995 he presented his own TV Show El Show de Freddy Lopez to Bronxnet Channel 69, the borough'

Freddy Lopez was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. In 1977 he participated in the "The Village Kids" at an early age. After moving to New York, Freddy participated in groups like Young Sound Device and New Image by doing choreography and dancing.

In 1987 Freddy took modeling class at Pasarella Modeling Studios with Carlos Emmanuely, after finishing he decided to become a recording artist's and trained his voice in the Bloomingdale School Of Music.

Shortly after Freddy started to perform as a single artist, and got more and more involved with Freestyle Dance Music, Freddy Lopez was sign to Pryme Time Records, and released his first single Baby Listen To Me and his first solo Album "Tu Jugaste Con Mi Amor" produced by Artie Rodriguez, four songs of the album I Keep On Trying, Tu Jugaste Con Mi Amor,No Aguanto Mas and No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti went into Radio rotations and even chart positions.

In 1995 he presented his own TV Show El Show de Freddy Lopez to Bronxnet Channel 69, the borough's public access cable channel, liked Mr. Lopez's idea for a bilingual Latin based dance show and decided to give it a try. I never thought It would go so far in such a short time, Freddy Lopez said. Things started to change, I received telephone calls from producers, singers, promoters and record companies. The self titled El Show de Freddy Lopez aka (The Freddy Lopez Show) debuted on March. 13.1995. It's first guest was singer Judy Torres.

Freddy Lopez had a great acceptance as a Show master and TV Show Producer. The self-described "freestyle-based variety show" has seen its viewing audience reach out of the East Coast tri-state area into Ohio and Puerto Rico. The show features short comedy sketches as well as musical performances by Latino artist's and was nominated for Best Entertainment Access Show in 1999.

Driven by his success with Latin Freestyle Dance Music Freddy Lopez founded in 1998 his own record label E.L.I. Records and release Estilo Libre "Varios Artistas" a compilation of standout musical performances from Lopez's show, featuring such artists as Chrissy I-eece, Tonasia, Artie Rodriguez, Javier Lopez among others. ~

Now this year 2013 Freddy Lopez has move to Miami Florida and open a new record label MIAMI FREESTYLE RECORDS, to release new singles and albums. and its also working in putting together his new TV show.
