An Overview of Their Experience So Far
Enation is fast becoming known as one of the best independent anthemic rock bands around, combining the expanse and creativity of U2 and Radiohead with the wit and soul lyrically of songwriters in the spirit of Dylan and Cash. Enation has grown in the six years since forming in 2002, taking the pure passion they have always possessed and combining it with the maturity to know that a whisper can also be as loud as a shout.
Enation has headlined shows at the world famous Whisky A-Go-Go and The Troubadour (among many other renowned clubs), and has built an international fan base selling thousands of albums at home and abroad, most recently being prominently featured on the hit CW TV show "One Tree Hill"
with the title track from their new album "World In Flight" being played on the show as well as the song and collaborative EP "Feel This" (performed by Bethany Joy Galeotti featuring Enation). "Feel This" had an immediate response: the single went to #8 on the I-Tunes Rock Charts, and the EP debuted #1 on the CD Baby Top Sellers list (one of the largest independent music outlets in the world.) The TV episode itself also hit the #1 spot on I-tunes––all of this bringing a host of new fans and great reviews in for the band.
Enation has had several other songs used in TV & Films, most notably the songs “Come Clean”, which was featured on A&Eʼs “Dog The Bounty Hunter”, and "Ride" from the film "Stephen King's Riding The Bullet", which got the song featured on MTV.com.
Jonathan Jackson and Richard Lee Jackson have also been two of the most respected, well known young actors in Hollywood for the last 15 years. Their film and television careers have given them the opportunity to work in lead roles along side some of the biggest names in the business, including Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jim Caviezel, Calista Flockhart, and Sir Ben Kingsley, among many others. They have been featured in worldwide syndicated magazines such as People, Teen People, Movieline, TV Guide, and Newsweek.
"If we donʼt have fun, then why do this?" Jonathan says. "We're in this for the long haul. It doesn't matter how fast things grow. We're committed to making music that's relevant and powerful, music that inspires and even changes peopleʼs lives. We want it to change ours."
Enation's anthemic rock continues to inspire and captivate those who hear it. With the launch of "World In Flight", Enation takes on the world.
"Enation is gaining as a band, with the sentiment and joy of American Rock
with a European style and a lot of class, it should be discovered.”
