Album Notes
Every Year for my Birthday I decide to play a show. My birthday show, if you will. The rule becomes: I play whatever I feel like playing because it's my birthday. Generally the set includes a few covers, a bunch of new songs I'm trying out and a couple old favourites that I enjoy playing. This birthday show wasn't any different, except that it was recorded--and now it's available for purchase. My very first Live CD featuring 4 brand new songs never previously recorded or released. My friend Caroline Brooks of The Brooks Sisters (www.brookssisters.ca) was there that night and I got her up on stage to sing with me on "Hey, Jesus". Also, Indie favourite drummer/percusionist was there (by chance) Graydon James, and there just so happened to be congas there, so I got him up on two tracks ("All We Are is Filth" & "I Deserve") to play.

So I hope you enjoy the CD. It's a chance for those to get a taste of what I sound like live.

Studio recordings are matched only by his live performances
Having everyone of Enio's recordings it's a real treat to hear what he sounds like live, and it doesn't disappoint. Especially the new songs.

Now if only I could actually see a live performance...
I've been a big fan of Enio's work for some time now, and I was thrilled to finally get to hear what he sounds like live. I particularly liked the live rendition of "Everything", which just might be my number one favorite song of his, and I really liked how it sounded with a faster tempo. I also actually liked this version of "All we are is filth" better than the album version. The new songs were simply amazing too (will we get to hear any of them on "Kansas"?). Anyways, now I just wish I could SEE a live Enio performance! Any chance of coming to the States, Enio?
