Album Notes
Epelectric is a young band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band is made up of lead singer,Eric Martin, guitar player, Aidan Chisholm, bass player, Logan Hamilton and drummer, Mitch Knight. Each member has spent countless hours practicing their craft and creating their own individual styles. They all bring different nuances to the music created by the band.
After almost two years in the recording studio, they have released their self-titled, debut album this past August!
Epelectric formed in the late summer of 2011. Logan and Mitch had been playing in high school bands together since grade 9, both in the school band program and in a number of Rock bands they put together. Aidan joined in 2009 and Eric was added in August of 2011. They went straight into the studio to begin recording their debut album with Dennis Field of Denmark Productions in Halifax. The song writing comes from all of the band members with Mitch, Logan and Eric writing lyrics and Aidan collaborating on the music and arrangment with the rest of the band. The end result is pure Rock, something missing from anything new on the airwaves these days!
