Album Notes
New down-tempo CD from Black Van Records…Erland's The Defining Moment is a blend of buzzy bass and brick-house beats that is sure to fuck your shit up. in a good way.

San Francisco-based producer Erland creates a variety of electronic genres, everything from down-tempo to glitch-hop to minimalist house. His weapons of choice include an Edirol PCR-50 tethered to Reason and Live, an electric bass, a banjo, ukelele, didgeridoo, and a home-brew MIDI controlled paintball turret that few music venues will allow. One of his tracks can also be heard on the Black Van Records' release Machine Punk Music (BV001).

Black Van Records is an electronic music label based out of Brooklyn, NY. Heavily influenced by punk, Black Van's goal is to put out electronic music that makes you dance or slam your head against the wall.

Love the beats
I'm a music neophyte, but I know what I like. This is great stuff. Cheers to Erland and if you'll excuse me, it's time to get right down on it.
