Album Notes
The Buck Dance for Brownie’s Copasetic Chair Dance is a legendary tune among tap dancers world-wise. The dance, itself, was first done in Harlem, New York at the Hoofer's Club and was later made famous by the legendary "Copasetics." Ernest “Brownie” Brown, was the last surviving member of the group and, in the last 16 years of his life, partnered with Reggio The Hoofer. Together the two continued bringing The Buck Dance for Brownie's Copasetic Chair Dance with them wherever they traveled.
