Ero returns after three years of recording absence with a very personal album with an apropos title, which is at the same time an encouragement for the Greeks during this tough period... "Psihrema" (Calmly).
After solo albums («Atima ta pragmata», «Etsi eimai ego», «Apogiosi», «Kita me anteho», «Hromata», «Allazo» and a cd of children's songs titled "Ena pouli pou to elegan agapi - A bird that was called love») and many successful performances, Ero with her eighth album of "Psihrema" ... continues in the style of her previous cd, but evolving.
The album comprises eight songs, seven new and one cover. The music of the songs is composed by herself as well as the lyrics of the track "Mono emeis". Gerasimos Evangelatos has written the lyrics of the cd title track and three other songs ("Methismeni diafora", "Ta hronia mou", "To egklima"). Costas Fasoulas «signs» the lyrics of the song «Omiros» and Lucille Petridou the lyrics of "Fevgo».
All the songs were chosen based on emotion and assemble a small musical puzzle. Each of these is a little story. The link of all and surprise of the album is the use of natural instruments in the production and arrangement. This album has "classic" style and modern approach.
A cover of the song of Mimis Plessas and Lefteris Papadopoulos "Apopse se thelo» («Tonight I want you») is included. In the song "Egklima" we «meet» an unexpected duetto with Christos Loulis. In the song "Methismeni diafora" involving the "Polyphonic Choir of Patras".
Ero is also responsiple for the arrangement, while it was very significant the contribution of the great musicians who played the songs.
