ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What is the archetype of a true spoken word artist? A true spoken word artist spits verse that’s devastating to fallacy and malignant to ignorance. A true spoken word artist touches their audience in places that until that moment; numbness resides. A true spoken word artist is humbled from a distance, yet a lyrical God before your spirit.

Eryk Moore, phonetically known as “WHERDZMYTH”; is the archetype of a true spoken word artist! His lyrics flow like the Black Sea, re-hydrating dry souls. His delivery is like a soldier on the front line; dynamic and direct, straight to the point of what’s happening in anyone’s life.

And his stage presence? His stage presence is endearing and powerful at the same time, forcing everyone present to break down all barriers and prepare to taste reality, served up in doses of their past, present and future.

Born and raised in New York, Eryk Moore first discovered his pen through the dark smoke of a very challenged childhood. Being accustomed to hiding his pain and fear in his verse, Eryk wasn’t too keen on sharing his poetic soul with unknown patrons around the world.

However, after migrating to Atlanta, Georgia in 2000, the urge to represent deliverance on the mic superseded being private and the legendary Ying Yang Café’ would be the initial ground breaking spot to feature Eryk Moore to the world!

Shortly thereafter, Eryk would join a spoken word group called, “The Eboni Poets” and after this group experience, Eryk realized that his calling was to flow worldwide solo.
As a phenomenal solo artist, his skill is comparable to Amir Sulaiman, Talaam Acey, Tommy Bottoms, and Georgia Me.

Eryk Moore exudes the same confidence as Jesus on the Cross, boldly rocking truth before non-believers, only to have them bow down in belief once his verse penetrates their minds.

***”I’m the one
you told your kids not play with
you see
my family adopted
heroine and crack
realized they liked it better
and decided
I wasn’t the one
they wanted to stay with
Now ain’t that some shit
Yo, I was only six…”

With the release of Eryk Moore’s much anticipated sophomore CD "This Man's Life", he opens his heart and shares a new collection of finely rendered, reality based poems. With this CD Eryk paints portraits of life drawn from his experiences and life seen through the eyes and soul of a spoken word artist.

If you want your next event to go from good to great, and getting more than your money’s worth is important in your budget, Eryk Moore is the Spoken Word Artist you need; guaranteed!

Worth more then money
There is more to Eryk Moore then just poetry. This stories are complelling and draws his audience to the back drop of his stories. More then just a poet he is a spoken word artist that has a mission. His mission is to arise awareness and this awarness is definately hearable in this dope CD. Go get it if you don't have it, and if you do buy another for someone that my need it.

10/10: ERYK, My Man...
hope this isn't true for your sake, but then I hope that some of it is, because it proves that people can overcome harsh reality and come out all right in the end. I am blessed by being born in a great country with lots of opportunities, although poverty is universal, I am well aware that poverty issues are different from place to place, and in the end people make the difference by sharing love. Peace to you.

I've had the pleasure of experiencing the live version of Eryk Moore. Seeing the man live the words he speaks first hand.
When I listen to Lorraine "track 07" I remember him telling me the story of the first time he performed that beautiful dedication for the love of his poetic life
That is Lorraine at the end of the piece and also at the end of his peace. Grown man talk "track 1” is a road that will carry you into a world of heightened perspective. Realities check reminding you that this is no ordinary story. No ordinary poet. The production of This Man's Lifeis well orchestrated with emphasis on versatility. You will ride with an uncontrolled case of head nod while banging Ebony "track 5" out your car stereo
If the system is bumping and the windows are down, Shine "track 6" might just change the world. That drop is so powerful you can use the speaker winds for sailing.
Eryk Moore flips us around like we were looking through a strangers eyes on judgment day.
It rolls out so well you almost live This Man's Life vicariously.
"track 9" The Hustle says it all. This drug is addictive
"track 10". Therapy. You’re probably rewinding it right now. We dropped it as a gift just for myspace friends.
"Track 18" Rapid Fire featuring Danielle Reed & Tommy Bottoms is BLAZIN
No matter what side of the track you play on,. Hip Hop or Spoken Word.
This is the bar you need to reach or step away from. Do the math. E. = an MC squared.
Tell Fabulous E. used a Reed to breath from these Bottoms.
We keep telling you it's The New Word Order. Our stars can make a poem cry. Renee "track 14"
Give Life 101 "track 15" seminars.
Make you dance. cry, inspire you, empower you and break you down.
You'll be edified, edutained and entertained by this extraordinary poet.

change you heard was coming.
