ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

David A. Z. also known by his stage name (Ese Daz) is a Mexican/American recording artist, educator, film and music producer. He is the founder and co-chief executive officer (CEO) of 110 South Music. He was born and raised in the Harbor Area (Port of Los Angeles) Both his mother and father are from Michoacan (Place of the fishermen) located in Mexico. His father was a carpenter and mother a seamstress who came to the United States in search for a better life. Ese Daz began rapping at age 14. He attended Carson High School.
As a teenager he started hanging around the wrong crowd and began getting into trouble. Many of his peers fell victim to the streets. Some were incarcerated and others began experimenting with drugs. Thanks to the prayers of his mother and the love from his family music became his outlet. The passion for the music saved him from the pitfalls of the street life. He was discovered by Murry Brumfield in high school with the rap group (Spanish F.L.Y) his childhood friends Ese Rich Rick and Tricks. In 2004 Ese Daz was signed by E-dubb, Pocos Pero Locos, Silent Giant Ent and Universal Records. Besides his music he also holds a B.A. in Kinesiology, 2 Credentials, and a M.A. in Education. He is currently working on releasing new music, short films and continues to give back as an educator to the kids and community of Los Angeles.
