Album Notes
Ethyline is a punk band, formed out of the shards of former Chicago punk rockers, Sludgeworth. In the 90's, legendary bands like
The Offspring and Green Day opened for this great band! Ethyline is a more melodic than Sludgeworth, and they showcase that quality on their
second LP release, "Long Gone", on Wild West Records. The LP is full of powerful melodies, blazing guitars, and superb lead vocals by lead singer Matt Bessemer.

Influences include Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Goo Goo Dolls.

Ethyline is a great band!
I heard this band in the late 90's when I was traveling through Germany, but I didn't know they were from Chicago. They rock! I don't know what happened to them, but I love their music. The first CD, "Jitters", was really awesome. This one is just as good.
