ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Here are some of the disc's reviews and a bit of background on the situation in East Timor:

"Probably one of the best compilations I've ever heard." Sore Zine

"One of the most interesting compilations I've heard in quite a while...Uz Jsme Doma's 'Jassica' is killer and Idiot Flesh's 'Blue Head' ups Queen and Metallica's respective antes with such ludicrous brilliance that it justifies the purchase price on its own." Splendid

"Highlights include one of the greatest Smoking Popes tracks EVER and Self...incredible. How do they do it?!?! Well worth the $$$." Schwell

"Jailbait's hilarious beat-box, a capella send-up of George Michael's "I Want Your Sex" will reflexively empty your bladder into those rock n' roll depends." Fort Wayne News-Sentinel

"Easily one of the best compilations I've heard in years." Mutant Renegade

Joely

A compilation of the highest order
It's brilliant when you can take genres this different and not only make them fit within a long album, but make it an exciting listen. This definitely accomplishes the goal. Very enjoyable to listen to over and over again. Rock, rockabilly, emo, punk, alternative pop, rap, metal, and folk somehow fit together so well here. Track to track it's great and it even has the comedic relief with the George Michael cover. I had heard this when it originally came out 13 years ago and loved it, but never got around to getting it, and am more than happy to get it now especially considering the cause it was brought together for.

Fantastic compilation
Every bit of profit goes to a worthy charity and it's weird to think if human atrocities hadn't happened this collection of bright light and optimism wouldn't exist in this collection. They would be shining separately, but not in this collection. Bless these ladies and gentlemen. I love this and listen to it all the time. Rock, rap, metal, punk, fill in the blanks, and all excellent.
