Album Notes
Eunan McIntyre is an award singer songwriter from Glencolmkille in County Donegal, Ireland. He is influenced by the beautiful natural surroundings in which he grew up and now lives with his wife Jackie and family. Eunan writes about the place he was born, his experiences being part of a big family ( he’s one of 16 children ) and his love of traditional ballads .
He has toured the United States, Canada, Ireland, the U.K., and Europe. In addition he has toured extensively in Switzerland both as a solo musican and supported by Swiss band Tacha . Eunan has headlined the Ancient Order of Hibernians, St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Indianapolis Indiana Roof Ballroom, and he also performed at the Greening of the Canal in 2011 and 2012. He is best known for his songwriting skills and his warm personality. While he is on stage he reaches into the hearts of his audience with his own Irish humor and his music.
Eunan has won several song competitions in Ireland and in 2000 he received the Pete St. John ASCI award for his song ‘Josie’ which also win the Sean McCarthy All-Ireland traditional Ballad Song Competition . He won this competition again in 2002, and has on several occasions received first prize in the Clonmany song competition. In 2011 he was a prize winner again with his new song ‘Some day We’ll Fly Away’. He has also won the Keadue song competition in Roscommon.
Eunan has supported acts such as Tommy Sands, Sean Keane and the Legendary Wolftones. He has also supported Danny Doyle, Daniel O'Donnell, Charlie Landsbourgh ,and Sean Cannon a member of the Legendary Dubliner.

To date Eunan has released six albums and a new DVD based on his own material ,his first album was just called ‘A Collection of Songs’, and then he released ‘All the love you Bring’, ‘Rathlin Sky’ and Blown on a Breeze. He has also released a live album with the Swiss band Tacha based on a project called ‘The Challenge Between Cultures’.
NEW DVD
Eunan has collaborated with Irish born artist Maire McSorley, who uses still images and video footage, many taken in Donegal to visually express and interpret Eunans songs in a new DVD called AN RUD A LIONAS AN SUIL LIONANN SE AN CROI ( WHAT FILLS THE EYE FILLS THE HEART )
Eunan performs solo, or with his band Slainte! (meaning Cheers! ) who play a mix of lively original music with Celtic feel, as well as traditional ballads.
