ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
44 bands from Europe and the USA traveled to the little town of Voorthuizen in The Netherlands to showcase on May 5 - 7, at the 8th annual European World of Bluegrass convention.

Composition here vary from traditional to Nora Jones, and from Bill Monroe to Sting.

6 tracks are composed by the performing groups, as #1 European Bluegrass Band 2005 Carmel Sheerin & the Ravens from Ireland, Kreni from the Czech Republic, Bean Sprouts, Skyland, and Hotch Potch from The Netherlands, and Bononia Grass from Italy.

Other performers here are from:

Excellent!
Great proof that a tradition can be kept alive - great musicians on all these tracks. That I had to "travel" all the way to CDBaby.com to find out this has been happening right under my nose all these years ...
