ALBUM LINER NOTES, CREDITS, and THANKS Face Like Flint …. Heavy Seven Track 1. Jesus You’re My Everything: is a proclamation of faith in Jesus. It also refers to the ministry of reconciliation and our jobs as ambassadors of Christ. It was written during our time of leading praise and worship for a wonderful group of kids who impacted our lives greatly.
Track 2 God’Got It: was written by Harv the drummer who is actively involved in recovery and prison ministries. Trusting completely in the author and finisher of our faith is the general theme of this song. It also refers to fighting this good fight of faith and that we are born again to good works as members of the body of Christ.
Track 3. No Surprise: A song describing the struggle we may encounter in fighting the good fight of faith. And sometimes in circumstances we “feel” like we are losing. Sometimes doubt and unbelief become tormenting. But enduring in His strength, day breaks through even in the darkest nights !
Track 4. Peace Of Mind: Life without Christ is the loneliest state of human existence. No matter the material success, relationships, without God there is no real peace. It can only be found in God trough Jesus Christ! The love of God truly transforms lives.
Track 5. Love and Glory: Unfortunately the god of this world keeps blinders on the eyes of mankind. Only the truth (Jesus) through the power of the cross can liberate. It is important to continue in the faith and pray, study the bible, take your place in the body of Christ. Use the talents that God has given you for His glory! And that being unique as God has given. As you do this in love you move closer and closer to the glory of God!
Track 6. Thinline: Also written by Harv, this song brings us to the reality that many are headed the wrong way! To those answering the call of Jesus Christ new life is found and not just that but eternal life and a future of hope and excitement like no other! The wrong path laid out for us is easy to follow but leads to death and destruction. At the crossroads what path will you follow?
Track 7. Down At The River: How many people go about their days caught up with the affairs of this world dominating their lives. Creation itself lends to the thoughts that Hey, maybe there is more to it! And this song states that there is one who offers more than the things of this world. He alone is able to wash us clean from the sorrows and stains, in it.
