ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
THE FAT TONES Stealing the show at major music venues, blowing away audiences, and winning award after award - both collectively and individually - is what the music industry has come to expect from the Fat Tones. Sometimes fate allows all the puzzle pieces to fall into place just the way we want them to, and that is exactly what happened one fruitful night at a club in Spokane, Washington a few years back. Bobby Patterson (Lead Guitar), Bob Ehrgott (Bass Guitar), and Mike Hays (Drums) got into a jam that electrified the audience and had them screaming “Encore!” Since then, the Fat Tones’ musical skills have evolved into a high-impact, progressive fusion of Blues and Rock that leaves their audiences begging for more. Precise synergy of rhythm, percussion and world class guitar playing, topped off with fun, fresh lyrics and pitch perfect 3-part harmonies best describes the magic this band consistently delivers. The technology of today’s music industry allows hard-working artists like the Fat Tones to self produce and distribute their music to a fan base that grows at a lightning pace with the release of their fourth CD “Struttin”, the hot selling “Three” and the ever popular “Bomb Run”. Stay tuned to your local music station, as everyone that has a love and desire for high quality electric Blues/Rock will be quite pleased at the opportunity to listen to the fabulous Fat Tones! Recently this trio swept up the 2006 Inland Empire Blues Society Awards Banquet by winning 7 Empire Awards! They were recognized for the following awards: BEST BLUES GUITARIST BEST BLUES BAND BEST BLUES DRUMMER BEST BLUES BASSIST BEST BLUES ALBUM BEST SLIDE GUITARIST BEST PERFORMER This band has all the potential necessary to continue increasing their much deserved success. Thank you for your support! ----by Kris Sterling, Sterling Services 2006

Good stuff!
Bought this album on a whim, but I am far from dissappointed! Good down to earth blues. If you like good guitar music and catchy well written songs you will like this. If I was to be critical of it at all (I hate being a 'critic' especially when I have enjoyed listening to something), some of the backing vocals sound a bit 'lifeless'. Get it anyway - you will enjoy it!!
