Female Trouble

by Female Trouble

Boisterous, Farfisa-driven "cheerleader-with-a-tire iron" brat rock with ample shouting, clapping, and singing to complete our '60s pajama party vibe. A rowdy cocktail party with the Shirelles, Gang of Four and John Waters.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Female Trouble's eponymous first album is a heady concoction of '60s organ trash rock full of hand-clapping catchy choruses and aggressive lyrics with irreverent delivery. Female Trouble sharpened their cha-cha heels in San Francisco clubs and basement parties and now presents their high-energy, distorted pop hits in this 12 song collection that will make your mama blush.

El Guapo

Beach Blanket Booze fueled adventure to the Heart of the Fun....
If good time, boogie withchu' beach pop is your idea of a good time then crank up the juke, put on yer bobby socks and work out yer troubles with this fine ensemble. Pumping Farfisa, sly bass lines, drum cracks and thunder rolls and slicing, angled guitar work are your thing then Female Trouble will have you happier than a two-tailed dog in a butcher shop......

YEAH KICK IT LADIES!!!
Rockin! Fun! Love this album. Catchy, witty and irreverent in all the good bad girl ways. Makes me wanna run out get a huge weave and a large bourbon and find some unsuspecting sucker and make his night! After hearing this album for the first time, I am forever a Glamour Slammer tramp. Strap on your fake eyelashes and platforms and let these bitches ROCK YOU!!

Turn it up!
Wake up, everybody. Turn it up! Female Trouble wants you to play it LOUD, so take my advice, and give them what they want. These tracks are so well-written, so well played, and delivered with such fun that it's hard not to get on board. If "Put it in your Crock Pot" doesn't make you rock — both for real, and with laughter — then listen again. Oh, and make darn sure your neighbors can hear it. Turn it UP! Love it.
