Album Notes
Sandra Ferreira has started her music studies at the age of 9, in Sao Paulo- Brazil, graduating in Piano Performance in 1888. Ms Ferreira continued her studies both in Music and in Psychology (graduating in 1990 in clinical Psychology at the PUC- SP), where she found a rich combination, between music and Psychology as complementary to each other throughout her career. Coming to USA in 1999 to pursue her master studies in Music therapy at New York University, due to her talent and distinguised voice, she was also awarded ½ scholarship to the Boston Conservatory to a masters in Opera performance, graduating in 2003. Throughout her career as a musician, she has performed with distinguished groups such as State Symphonic Choir of Sao Paulo, Tanglewood Choir (Boston Synphony Orquestra), Yale Camerata Choir, Bach Society, among others.
