ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If there is one thing we all know about Melissa Ferrick, it's that she gives us one hell of a live show. "Skinnier, Faster, Live at the B.P.C" continues to be one of her top selling albums. And now, 8 years later, she gives us her latest: "Live at Union Hall". Packed with her charming and witty banter, her ferocious guitar skills and her addictive fervor, "Live at Union Hall" welcomes you back in for the ride and reminds us why Ann Powers (NY TIMES) said, "Ferrick's live shows define her popularity... she plays her acoustic guitar as if it were a full band and stresses improvisation in her vocals." Indulge yourself.

A great gig!
As soon as I hit play I could feel the great great expectections as Mel started saying "So we are recording tonight." It was so great! As an Ani fan I have been wisjing to find a lady with the cool attitude. There it was from track one. Sadly she said:" I was glad you were respectful, so I did not have to scold at ya ( Mine reference.) Even Ani now has soften up on that... But still, if she is comming near me I will go to that show. The cd is like BEEING in Brooklyn... My second live recording by her has already been ordered. And you should too.

amazing
As always, the music is phenomenal! I love listening to the live records because of the fun and passion that goes into every song. Can't wait for the next one!

awesome
With tracks starting with peppy anecdotes and raw emotion you can feel at home, Melissa Ferrick creates an outstanding concert than you can revisit again and again with unwavering enthusiasm.

Live at U. Hall
Very fun, truthful, and easy to listen to while painting. Keep up the good work.

Awesome as usual
if you like Melissa Ferrick's live albums and her studio albums, this is a perfect combination of the two. She never fails to let an audience down. You won't be disappointed.

Live at Union Hall
A good record to listen to when the rain was pouring down today. There's a freshness in
Melissa's voice I really like.
