ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After a 25 year hiatus, filigranas is back with their first 21st century album, a kaleidoscope of folk/maharishi/tropicalia melodies set "on the back seat of your car," properly looking back, stretching way back, the back rear, to be precise, and driving on reverse to somehow strange familiar melodies. Songs and harmonies by bands such as The Mastroiannis or Los Paranoias might lead you on the right direction. All very "cosmically conscious," hip and spacious. Very highly recommended.

Roadtrips through the mind
An album that is meant for listening from the very beginning to the very end ( hang on for the coda ayt the end of the last track ). Songs hit upon a diversity of rhythms and moods, from lively bounces of te vas to heavy beats of si ves el sol, to brazilian bossa nova rhythms and spacey feel of dibujos. Each song connects with some past memory, of a place, or a phase of life. A very fresh, lo-fi sound, with new discoveries on repeated spins.

Don't waste your time reading this! Get hold of it now!
Brilliant! Awesome!! Mind-blowing!!!

Great vocals, masterful compositions, fantastic string arrangements, tight percussionist treats and superlatively interwoven bass magic.
Being linguistically challenged subtracted nada from the overall listening experience.
An album that keeps on giving with each new fresh listening - a truly spellbinding concoction of psychedelic, nostalgic melancholia.

Intriguing blend of folk rock and acoustic pop, unique, enchanting listening exp
Unique, diverse range of songs and sounds with a folk rock feel that is refreshing and original. Expressive, soaring vocals and thoughtful lyrics combine with melodic acoustic guitar playing and percussion. The album brings together elements of psychedelic acoustic rock, pop and Latin rhythms. A beautiful, haunting collection of songs. I highly recommend this album!

Lush soulful acoustic harmonies, captivating album
An eclectic blend of songs that is part folk-acoustic, part blues, part Latin. Lush, rich acoustic guitar and percussion will take you away to another place. Nostalgic soulful acoustic sounds, captivating from start to finish. Great album, I highly recommend it.
