Never liked cover songs before this one
I heard Lady Samantha by Five Townz on a Canadian radio station and the DJ was saying how he didn’t like cover song, but that he liked what Five Townz had done with this song. I totally agree with the DJ! This song is not as upbeat as some of their others, but it shows how they can be diversified with their music. They have made me change the way I look at cover songs! Great job guys!

Five Townz takes it to the top!
I generally don't leave reviews for music, but I had to express my thoughts on this band because they've really stood out to me. I'm completely hooked and have been listening to their singles back-to-back (haven't found a bad one yet). I first heard the Five Townz version of Lady Samantha on a radio commercial and it immediately caught my attention. I love that they took a song written by Elton John and Bernie Toupin and remade it completely awesome. The instrumental is very powerful and I love the backup vocal (along with the lead vocalist of course whose voice just rocks). I enjoyed the Five Townz song moreso than the original because it has a modern feel to it..something you could expect to hear playing on the radio and end up at the top of the charts. It's very catchy and their spin on it is simply brilliant. It's a track you can put on repeat and doesn't get old. I would absolutely love to see these guys in concert and hope they one day tour in my area. = )

great introduction to the band's talent-
Five Townz has been one my favorite bands for the past year now, this is a great introduction to the band's talent. They have a great upbeat style that is incredible additive. This song has been stuck on repeat on my ipod for the last week.

This is a great version of this song.
I liked Elton John's version of Lady Samantha and yes it fit the era in which it was released but Five Townz version has so many more layers and nuances. I love the instrumental track thats playing under the song, it draws me into the song unlike the Elton John version that was very subdued. Overall I enjoyed Five Townz version.

5ive Townz is a breath of fresh air
This is the only album I have listened to for the past month. The music is fantastic and emotive. I feel like I'm living inside a mood, a moment in time that is totally captivating. I can honestly say that this is one of the best singles I have ever purchased! I already recommended this album to all of my friends, its definitely a must buy!

An Absolutely Great Ballad!
Five Towns does a great job with this song! Some people don't always do a good job of another persons song, but they really nailed it with this one. I have been playing this over and over on my ipod. The song has great vocals and you really need to listen to the song a few for times to appreciate all the subtleties that went into it. I was really impressed with their other music as well so be sure to check out some of their other songs.
This is one of those great songs from Elton John and this version is absolutely awesome. Once you listen to it I'm sure you'll agree.

Surprisingly unexpected and unpredictable
A hauntingly beautiful ballad, Lady Samantha is Elton John and Bernie Taupin's ghost story from the sixties brought back to life by Five Townz. I have not heard filler song from this artist as of yet and I've listened to all released tracks to date. By now I thought I knew what to expect judging from their prior releases. Once again Five Townz delivers! This time the outcome was surprisingly unexpected and unpredictable, for they went with a simplistic, back-to-basics, bare-bones arrangement where less is more. I found the natural ambiance of the piano delightful and a welcomed change to the typical synth keyboards so common to today's music. Lady Samantha showcases the astounding vocals. My favorite part of the song is the middle part.
