ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ENGLISH: Flavio Amador is a Honduran-born producer, singer, and songwriter. His sound is derived from rock, Latin pop, reggae, and ska. Flavio got his start participating in numerous local bands singing pop-rock music as well as other Latin genres. He currently lives in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he composes and produces his own music.

Flavio was raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. As a child, his mother noticed his artistic abilities and enrolled him into the National School of Arts (Escuela Nacional De Bellas Artes) to encourage his talent. At the age of fifteen, Flavio settled in suburban south Florida neighborhood, where he attended Lake Worth High School. Years later, Flavio continued his studies at International Fine Arts College in Miami to complete his higher education learning curriculum.

Flavio Amador began his career in music at the age of eighteen, performing choreography and singing in several bands. His participation in these bands helped improve his skill set in harmony and stage performance. At the same time, Flavio started to write his own songs and began to play the guitar. Playing guitar helped him to understand the form and arrangement of songs, which provoked his interest to learn music production.

In addition to Spanish music, Flavio’s early influences were diverse in Honduras. Growing up, Flavio would listen to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” every hour on the local radio. He would listen to the best of the 70’s and 80’s including artists like Bee Gees, Duran Duran, and Guns N’ Roses among other favorites. Confident in his ability to create catchy songs, Flavio has made a commitment to jump-starting a proactive career in the music industry.
