forgotten citizen is a one-person "musical project". basically just an experiment without the boundaries of a genre. call it a soundtrack to life. this music is not for closed-minded people. if you can't appreciate music that makes room for the imagination, then stick to MTV. this music isn't made to be popular. it isn't made to be understood. it's made for listening. all you have to do is listen. if you try to do anything other than listen you'll miss the point.
the name forgotten citizen was chosen to have multiple meanings. every full-length album has a concept behind the music that has something to do with being forgotten, erased, or diminished. these are feelings that manifest themselves in every human being at some point in their life. right now millions of americans feel like forgotten citizens. after making our voices heard and being promised change, we are still stuck living in fear, having our constitutional rights and privacy shattered in front of us.
the black suit is worn in an effort to remind listeners that the music is what's important, not the performer. by removing all distinguishing physical appearance, you only have the music. the man in the suit is just a puppet pressing keys for the emotions and thoughts that pull his strings. the black suit represents these emotions and thoughts being able to express themselves without the help of a human host.
