Album Notes
Found in the Fury is a three person band led by singer/songwriter Paul Lafrance. He's joined by pianist and vocalist Janna Lafrance, and guitarist/bassist Joshua Fletcher. The band is rounded out by a variety of other talented musicians. "Songs from the Cave" is their first full length album, which took 6 years to complete.

The heartbeat behind the album is a passion for worship and creating "Christian" music that has been stripped of religious pretences. The songwriting is vulnerable and raw, and is directed toward the multitudes that have felt disenfranchised by the institutional church structure. The direction and style of the music is refreshingly unpredictable as the listener is taken through the highs and lows of trying to live a life of "faith" in a spiritually destitute land.

This is not a typical Alternative CCM album. The music is both spiritual and driving. Poetry moves over and through gripping guitar melodies, carried by piano, rhythm, and cello. A great album to absorb at high volumes, while contemplating the mysteries of the God-shaped hole we all carry.
